Sr. Product Manager - Web Services and Applications (Job Number: 1100000192)Description
This high profile position is part of Autodesk's new Web Services and Application team that is focused on taking our product offerings into new and uncharted territory via the cloud. This is a fast moving team, developing exciting new products and platforms that support the emerging role of web services and the cloud within Autodesk. This position will manage the customer facing applications and services that serve as the horizontal applications and building blocks for the rest of the company. You will drive the vision, roadmap and execution of the horizontal web services that our team releases through a deep understanding of the customers we serve across all of our industries.
In this role, you will work closely with other members of the web services product management team to establish a vision and roadmap for our customer facing and back end cloud platform. You will also work closely with the engineering teams to track and deliver the highest quality customer facing services. Understanding how to delight customers and creating great customer experiences should come naturally to you.
The top candidate will be versatile in their experience, have a customer centric approach to problem solving, and be forward thinking in their view of how the role of web services will change the way our customers work.

Responsibilities:
Establish a roadmap and manage the development of several customer facing web services connected to the foundational cloud platform
Author high level product Epics, Features, and Requirements in an Agile format to assure our products meet customer needs and solve real world problems.
Work closely with Product Design in the development of a highly intuitive and modern customer experience for all customer facing web services
Lead and motivate high-caliber cross division and cross functional teams in an environment that strives for excellence
Work closely with a team of product managers establishing the vision for the foundation cloud platform
Conduct market research to identify new features, industry trends and opportunities related to web services and applications.
Works with other product managers and designers to drive a consistent customer experience vision across Autodesk.
Requirements:
In depth knowledge of design applications, web services and the cloud
BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related degree, MBA with technical background preferred
5+ years of relevant Product Management or Product Marketing experience
5+ years of Web Services experience with knowledge of latest technologies and trends
Experience with the Agile development process; you've developed a roadmap, written Epics, and have contributed to Story creation.
You are a self-starter, able to take high level direction, you can juggle multiple initiatives and you can drive teams towards execution
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in developing and leading high performing teams.
Strong communication skills, especially technical speaking and writing.
Excellent organization and presentation skills.
